Nothing more exciting than a follow-thru
Today my PR107 campaign class finally got to have a fundraiser for Operation Homefront NY/NJ. My group has been working on this non-profit company to help raise money for military families in need of help. It was hard work, and our group busted their asses, especially Amanda S, and Alex B who literally went back and forth with Miller's Ale House for weeks. All in all I have to say there is nothing more exciting than working, an event that my classmates and I have put together. We raised over $500 dollars which all goes to Operation Homefront NY/NJ, and it was great to meet such generous families. A big thanks to everyone who donated, and an even bigger thanks to our group, we pulled it off for our last hoorah!

It was fun to setup the event, I'm bummed that I couldn't attend the actual thing but that's how it works out sometimes. It's nice to see everyone's hard work pay off. Especially for such a good client like Operation Homefront.
ReplyDeleteThis was such a great accomplishment for our group. I enjoyed every minute of having Operation Homefront out. It was so great for Miller's Al House to give us the space for the event. We all learned so much from this event and hope to take what we learned in our future jobs. I am so glad you enjoyed doing as much as me Amanda.
ReplyDeleteIt was great to see everyones hard work really come to the end and see the event happen. And best of all thanks to boy Alex we actually got press coverage. And all of it was for a great company like OH
ReplyDeleteSometimes you gotta be pushy to get what you want! I'm glad the event went well for you guys! Definitely setting the bar for the next pr 107 classes!
